COPESA: Certification of the Integrated Management System ISO

Within its Continuous Improvement Strategic Plan, COPESA has a Comprehensive Management System for Compañía Peña Sánchez, S.A. de C.V. which has been certified by BICERT, according to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 QUALITY, 14001: 2015 ENVIRONMENTAL, ISO 45001: 2018 SAFETY and ISO 37001: 2016 ANTI-BRIBERY.

Within its Strategic Plan, COPESA has declared its mission: "Always seek transcendence and sustainable growth of our company and society".

 

Therefore, once again COPESA is pleased to receive recognition from Hewlett-Packard Mexico, to participate in the HP Planet Partners program, with the return and recycling of original ink containers and toner HP, in support of the environment and sustainable growth of our environment.

Industrias Wolter: Presentation of Fine Chocolate "Quetzalli"

November 2015

 

At the 6th Chocolate Festival that was celebrated in Villahermosa, Tab., Industrias Wolter (subsidiary of COPESA) made the release of "Quetzalli", offering a new variety of fine chocolates. For the production of this line, it was neccesary to visit different countries like Spain, Germany, France, England, Italy and also the United States were. The line Quetzalli integrates nine varieties of the product: white, milk, sweet, semisweet, dark, bitter, bittersweet, and grand Premium with 70 and 80% of cocoa.

 

 

Social Service and Professional Residences Agreement COPESA-UGM

November 2015 

At the facilities of the Universidad Golfo de México (UGM) Campus Coatzacoalcos held this November 4, 2015, the conclusion of Social Service and Professional Residences Agreement.

 

Under this framework, students and trainees can perform their service and practices by establishing planned and systematic activities COPESA installations.

COPESA Anniversary: 21 Years

This October 28, 2015 we celebrated 21 year of history, experience, accumulated knowledge and mainly own satisfaction by solving needs and requirements of our customers. COPESA in recent years has expanded its horizons to new markets by creating new businesses, development of investment projects, commercial channels, systematization of processes, certifications and international alliances. COPESA undergoing a process of change, under an inertia and a dynamic that year after year has made it grow and be sustainable.

General Cooperation Agreement COPESA-CONALEP 058

August 2015 

​On August 10, COPESA and CONALEP celebrated an agreement through which express their interest and commitment to technological excellence to develop programs, projects and training services, for the promotion of professional development of teachers, students and graduates. Also, organize and implement programs for professional residencies, projects for new graduates, research visits of students and academics in different technical areas, also offering space for performing specific activities, academic and cultural diffusion. It is also planned the realization of design projects, engineering and training to third persons generated in these areas.

Legal Constitution: "Hule Olmeca, S.A.P.I. de C.V."

On June 9, 2015, the Italian company Process Engineering, S.R.L. and COPESA legally constituted in Mexico the corporation: "Hule Olmeca, S.A.P.I. de C.V.", adding to the list of subsidiary companies COPESA. 

 

With this significant event, the Investment Promotion of this anonymous society is legally prepared to issue shares and attract public and private investment for the development of a plant producing rubber thread high quality of Mexico to the world.

¨HULE OLMECA¨ project

October 2014

 

In association with the Italian company Process Engineering, SRL, COPESA and PE develop jointly the HULE OLMECA project, which involves the construction and operation of a thread mill rubber, which is the first in America, internationally competing with Asia which produces about 90% worldwide.

This project will be a source of hundreds of jobs, direct and indirect, from construction to production and operation.

Master Degree in Management of Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Ecology

August 2013

In August 2013, COPESA congratulated obtaining the degree and the master's degree given by the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, in which two members of the company received both documents.

 

As a precedent, the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Coatzacoalcos (ITESCO) signed an Agreement on Academic Cooperation with the Universidad Autónoma de

Coahuila, which both allowed and gave the facilities to attend the Master face-to-face at the COPESA installations.

In this generation of graduates participated officers and staff of Pemex Petrochemicals, Pemex Gas and Basic Petrochemicals, IDESA, Temex, ITESCO, and other companies within the industrial sector.

Visit to China: HIGHLAND facilities.

July 2013

 

In the month of July 2013, COPESA executives traveled to China to meet their now business partners of the company Shengli Highland Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd.

 

Through this strategic alliance, COPESA expands its range of business lines to provide equipment and services for drilling, production and maintenance of oil and gas wells.
